Youth / Student Groups

Our team at CoolScot Tours has long-standing experience in
delivering group tours around Scotland for the youth and
student market.

Our tours typically offer visits to popular tourist destinations,
free-time to explore cities and places close to overnight
accommodation stays, as well as activities in the great
Scottish outdoors. This gives young people the opportunity to
experience a wide variety of places and things to do.

We provide guides who are used to working with youth and
student groups and who talk and relate to young people at their
level. Our tours will usually incorporate an educational element
whereby the participants will learn things about Scottish
history and culture, whilst also hearing and learning some
more contemporary language and expressions from their
guide.

Accommodation for youth groups is often in dormitories, where
3, 4 or more students of the same sex will share a room. A
communal kitchen is usually available and most youth groups
choose to cook their evening meals for themselves – this both
keeps the costs down and allows the young people to enjoy the
experience of buying food from supermarkets and cooking for
their friends. Breakfast can be provided and most groups
choose this as an option.
